As deeply concerned citizens who love and respect our country, we have endured a dire situation with Rachel Maddow and her MSNBC show for too long. An example of this was her recent false claim that former President Trump, post his Supreme Court ruling, would create "death squads,” which is neither remotely accurate nor responsible reporting. It's this kind of misinformation that stirs division among us and undermines our trust in the media.

We deserve a better media landscape that upholds truth and accuracy above all. Broadcasters should inform, not misinform. For that reason, we request MSNBC to enforce strict fact-checking policies and practice responsible journalism in their shows, especially Rachel Maddow's. It's not about political bias; it's about our right to accurate information.
