I, a dedicated employee of the popular Ed-tech startup Unacademy, bear witness to a series of persisting issues related to the CEO, Gaurav Munjal's leadership. Mr. Munjal has repeatedly proven to be capricious and unreliable in his commitments. Last year, he cancelled the yearly appraisal, promising it would happen in 2024. However, he changed his stance this year in July, saying the appraisals would commence soon. Then, to our dismay, he announced there would be no appraisal this year. This unpredictability not only affects morale but our livelihoods too.

Furthermore, Mr. Munjal has earned a reputation for not treating his employees fairly or professionally. As employees, we scarcely see him on the floor, engaging with the team. This lack of presence and interaction indicates a disconnect between the leadership and its team.

Unacademy, recognizable and respected by many, deservedly needs a competent leader who holds true to their word, values their employees, and is present on the ground. Therefore, we call for the removal of Gaurav Munjal from the position of CEO of Unacademy. We need a leader who can foster a nurturing, trustworthy, and productive environment.
