Child Sexual Assault is a grave matter, and its magnitude shouldn't decrease no matter what the case verdict was. As a Rockwall citizen, I'd like to share my personal experience, which highlighted a troubling issue in our community. The matter is directly linked to an individual named Jamie Palmer, whose case was "no billed". This means that the Grand Jury didn't find enough evidence to charge Jamie Palmer, and that is unacceptable after how prolonged the case was. 

Each year, nearly 700,000 children are abused in the U.S ('Child Abuse Statistics', American SPCC). In Texas alone, the state we are considering here, 173 children were victims of abuse daily in 2019 ('2020 Texas Child Maltreatment Data', Texas Department of Family and Protective Services). These numbers are deeply concerning, and all stakeholders, including Rockwall ISD School Board, should play their part in addressing this issue.

We are deeply concerned that the Rockwall ISD School Board has not taken the necessary steps to address this matter. Regardless of the case outcome, we believe that the school board should take immediate and effective measures to ensure the safety of all students. This includes holding Jamie Palmer accountable, and removing her from our schools. Protect the children. 

We, as a concerned community, demand more from the Rockwall ISD School Board. We request removal of Jamie Palmer, and stricter safety policies against child sexual assault in Rockwall schools. Not only policies that protect our students from the outside predators, as we can see they do attack from the inside as well!
