As a concerned parent who experienced the unimaginable fear of not finding my two-year-old son at his daycare center on his 9th day of attendance, I am raising this petition to demand accountability from “Cradles, Cribs, and Crayons Childcare, LLC.” This daycare is owned and operated by Erica Rose. My son was found on a church property over a hill behind her house after he got out through an unlatched fence gate unnoticed. The workers were unaware of his absence until I arrived for pick-up.

This incident is not just about my child; it's about all children entrusted to Mrs. Rose's care who deserve better safety measures and responsible supervision. It's alarming that such negligence occurred in an establishment meant to provide safe care for our children when we are away.

Mrs. Rose has shown no remorse for this incident which raises serious concerns about her capability as the owner of the childcare center. Furthermore, there are concerns regarding her ability to hire competent employees capable of ensuring the safety and well-being of our children.

We need immediate action from local authorities in Wabash County to investigate “Cradles, Cribs and Crayons Childcare” thoroughly for any other potential risks or violations that may compromise child safety further.

Our goal is simple - prioritize protection for our children especially when considering childcare options. We cannot allow unqualified individuals or poorly managed businesses like this one continue operating without proper scrutiny or consequences.
