We, the concerned citizens of St Clairsville, OH, are deeply troubled by the ongoing and unnecessary suffering of animals at the Belmont County Animal Shelter under Dog Warden Lisa Duvall. Her apparent lack of cooperation and disregard for animal welfare has led to an alarming number of preventable animal deaths. Despite numerous complaints lodged by local residents, our commissioners have yet to take any action on this pressing issue.

The shelter is meant to be a safe haven for animals in need; however, under its current management it has become anything but. It is our belief that every creature deserves compassion and care - values that seem to be missing from Ms. Duvall's administration.

We urge our local government officials to conduct a thorough investigation into these allegations and hold those responsible accountable for their actions. The silence thus far is not only deafening but also complicit in this ongoing tragedy.
