The Issue

We, the citizens of India, raise our collective voice to demand the immediate cancellation of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls.

Why We Oppose This Revision: Unfair Identity Burden

● Ordinary voters are being forced to repeatedly prove their identity, even though they are already registered. This process discriminates against the poor, elderly, and marginalized communities who struggle to access documents. Massive Voter Deletions

● Across states, lakhs of genuine voters have been arbitrarily removed from the rolls. This is not a correction—it is disenfranchisement. No Accountability

● The Election Commission has failed to take responsibility for maintaining accurate voter lists. Instead, citizens are punished for systemic errors.

Our Demands:

1. Cancel the Special Intensive Revision immediately.

2. Restore all deleted names until a transparent, fair, and accountable process is established.

3. Provide a public explanation of the criteria used for deletions.

4. Create safeguards to ensure no citizen is denied their constitutional right to vote.

Our Call:   Voting is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right guaranteed under our Constitution. Any process that strips citizens of this right is unjust and undemocratic. We, the undersigned, demand that the Election Commission of India uphold its duty to protect democracy and ensure that every citizen’s voice is heard.
