Demand accountability and fair representation for Sun Country Airlines Flight Attendants.
The Issue
The current state of representation for Sun Country Airlines (SCA) Flight Attendants under the Teamsters union local 120 leadership is detrimental to our professional future and well-being. We call for the immediate removal of the existing Teamsters officers and negotiating committee assigned to our workgroup.
The challenges we face as SCA Flight Attendants are significant, particularly concerning the integration with Allegiant Air and the negotiation of a combined airline collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Unfortunately, the current representatives have failed to advocate effectively on our behalf. We deserve leaders who prioritize our unique needs, pursue transparent and fair negotiations, and safeguard our rights and interests in this complex transition.
On January 13, 2026, Sun Country Airlines Flight Attendants received an email announcing the merger/integration involving Allegiant. Since that announcement, over 125 days have passed with ZERO communication from our current Teamsters Local 120 officers regarding what this means for our workgroup, our contract, our protections, our seniority, or our future in a combined airline Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
That silence is unacceptable.
As Sun Country Airlines moves forward with integration into Allegiant, our Flight Attendant group is facing one of the most important labor negotiations of our careers. The outcome of this process will directly affect our pay, benefits, scheduling, work rules, seniority protections, quality of life, job security, and long-term future within the combined airline.
At a time when our workgroup needs strong, visible, transparent, and aggressive representation, we have instead received silence.
We believe our current officers and negotiating committee no longer have the confidence of a significant portion of the Sun Country Flight Attendant membership. Our future should not be negotiated by representatives who have failed to communicate with the members they are supposed to represent.
This petition is not about division. It is about democracy, accountability, and the basic right of members to have a voice in who represents them during a career-defining negotiation.
We demand a special election to ensure that the officers and negotiating committee representing us truly reflect our voices and work tirelessly for our benefit. It is crucial for our representatives to be dedicated, experienced, and fully committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our collective future.
By signing this petition, we unite in our commitment to secure competent, reliable, and accountable representation. We urge the relevant authorities to act swiftly and facilitate the necessary changes for the well-being of all Sun Country Airlines Flight Attendants. Sign now to make your voice heard and ensure fair representation for our workgroup.
