'The View' on ABC has been a regular program watched by millions worldwide, and as such, they carry the weight of responsibility to depict narratives honestly. I, along with many others, believe that the hosts of this show, namely Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin, have breached this gravitas.

Instead of curating meaningful discussions and informed debates, there's an evident continuation of spreading hateful remarks, seeding disinformation and fostering a significant racial and socioeconomic schism between its viewers and other Americans. This practice not only fuels resentment within our nation but also attempts to mold a biased worldview in our younger generations.

The frequent narrative endorsed by the hosts projects that if you do not align with their perspectives, you become a threat to their rights, termed a fascist, a racist. This accusation does nothing but contribute to the existing divisions in our society. As Americans, we believe in pluralism, the freedom of thought, conversation, and the fundamental dignity of individuals, irrespective of their standpoints.

Television, as a massive influence, should not be a platform to stereotype dissent as disdain. As per a report, 60% of Americans get their news from television (Statista, 2020). It's high time we question what kind of information we are consuming and from which platform, considering these statistics.

We demand ABC terminate the telecast of 'The View.' It's not about cancelling a show, but quelling divisive rhetoric purveyed under the guise of open conversation. Let's together aim for a less polarizing discourse, where all voices can genuinely be heard, all perspectives genuinely accepted.
