There has never been a more critical need to establish a Universal Code of Conduct for our Organized Stereo Clubs. Every individual that is already invested in our an Organized Stereo Club, or who looks to us for all the benefits our communities provide, deserves the right to meet & assemble with their respective communities, to participate & contribute in club activities & events, to pursue their stereoscopic interests and serve in leadership roles when appointed, without fear of predjudice, discrimination, bias, bullying, blacklisting, abuse, threats, manipulation, intimidation or excommunication from our Organized Stereo Clubs and greater extended culture.

As it stands NO Organized Stereo Club has ever operated under Code of Conduct or an adopted set of ethical standards & practices, has ever had any means to report claims of any kind or any system to keep records claims made and no club has ever been required to assume responsibility for any actions on behalf of it's organization, or for the behaviors of it's officers & leadership, either internally within autonomous club activity, when assuming responsibility over the governship of the greater culture (in aggregate situations created by ISU or NSA) or outside of club operations but still within the greater stereo community..  This has proven to be extremely problematic in recent years and may prove to be the single greatest oversight in the history of all Organized Club culture. This petition was created to demand ALL Organized Stereo Clubs to adopt a Universal Code of Conduct and a safe and effective means of reporting and recording claims. Since the thoughtful drafting of a Universal Code of Conduct may require more time then our culture can afford, this petition demands a UCoC to be rolled out in two stages:

1. A basic, emergency Universal Code of Conduct be drafted for mandatory adoption by all Member Clubs in the next few months, to help ensure the safety, rights and freedoms of all persons in our Organized Stereo Clubs are respected and protected, especially at the upcoming aggregate events such as the NSA 3D Con and ISU Congress in 2023.
2. The final draft of a UCoC and all supporting structures become a new additional recommendation to all Organized Stereo Clubs, the ISU and NSA.

A Universal Code of Conduct, written in clear, understandable language, should be easy to adopt by any club which already assumes ethical responsibility and should not interfere in any way with any Member Club activity, ISU operations or in achieving individual club missions and goals. 

A universal Code of Conduct

• establishes parameters which help define actions, behaviors and activities that threaten the safety and rights of every individual who wishes to pursue stereoscopic interests in our organized stereo clubs
• defines prohibited organizational activities and operations and leadership  actions and behaviors that threaten the continued health and growth of each and every Member Club in our Union and integrity and trust 
• establishes ethical standards that protect against continued corruption and reassures sponsors, cultural supporters, related industry and other affiliates that public support of our organizations will not result in any liability, embarrassment or other negative ramifications cause by damaging behaviors of our officers, administration, leadership or general membership.

All persons involved and associated with an Organized Stereo Club or are looking to become involved in a Club are invited to sign the petition, to demand our collective leadership take the actions necessary to instate one. The petition will be presented to all Organized Stereo Club officers and leadership by June 2023.
