Every citizen deserves to live in a safe, peaceful and inclusive society.             

The increasing incidents of sexual violence especially against children, drug abuse, caste discrimination and religious hatred threaten the safety and unity of Tamil Nadu

We, the people of Tamil Nadu, urge the Government to take stronger and sustained measures to:

• Prevent sexual violence through effective policing, speedy investigation and victim support.
• Intensify action against drug trafficking and drug abuse, especially among youth.
• Strictly enforce laws against caste discrimination and caste-based violence.
• Take firm action against religious hatred and promote communal harmony.
• To enact comprehensive law to prevent honour crimes. 
• Strengthen awareness programmes in schools, colleges and communities to build equality, constitutional values and social responsibility.   

Through this petition, we express our commitment towards building a Tamil Nadu that is safe, equal and free from hatred.

Together, let us create a Tamil Nadu free from sexual violence, drugs, caste and religious hatred.
