The Issue

We voice deep concern and opposition to the zoning application for 1696 N Hague (Z25-011 and cv25-024). The current variances and apartment complex will drastically alter the character of our streets - a  neighborhood of 600 some single-family homes along N Hague, Woodloop Ln, and Cortona and Scioto Woods. The proposed variances include reduced setbacks, suboptimal driveway design, extraordinarily high buildings, and diminished parking capacity - these compromises do not align with our vision of our homes and community.  Why cram this design here?

Our neighborhood is park-like suburban living, and we are aware that change is inevitable, even welcomed. However, any development should respect and enhance our unique community character, not erode it.  The proposal for 1696, as it stands now, falls short of preserving these qualities, signaling a clear need for revision.

We the collective residents are calling for a united development plan on the N Hague corridor from Trabue toward Chippewa. The plea is simple; let's keep N Hague a majestic suburban corridor.   No variances for now that ignore that vision. N Hague is a Flagship corridor, suburban green and majestic.   it deserves development that honors this fine quality.

We urge you to deny the current proposal and engage with us to develop a revised plan, one that respects, reflects, and supports the unique needs of our community. Sign this petition to join us in calling for a revised proposal that ensures sustainable, thoughtful, and respect-driven development for our neighborhood.
