I am a Canadian, and like many others, I feel the strain of our current immigration policy. Our government seems to turn a deaf ear to our concerns as we struggle with rising costs and overcrowded cities. We are told that these issues will stabilize, yet no action is taken. This situation is particularly acute in Quebec, where many fear the loss of cultural identity amidst this influx.

Our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has repeatedly stated that immigration is necessary due to Canada's aging population. However, this argument fails to consider the economic principles of supply and demand which dictate that an increase in population can lead to rising prices for goods and services.

Furthermore, with advancements in artificial intelligence expected to replace many jobs in the future, it begs the question - why do we need more people?

One country from which we see a significant number of immigrants is India. While it's not about targeting any specific nationality or ethnicity but rather questioning why we should bear the burden of another country's population explosion?

Canadians are being forced out of their homes due to increased competition for housing and some struggle even afford basic necessities like food.

It’s time for our government to listen – not just hear us – but truly understand our concerns about immigration policies that seem more experimental than practical or sustainable.

We must demand transparency from Trudeau’s administration on how they plan on addressing these issues without compromising Canadians' quality of life or economic stability.
