As an Ecuadorian, I am deeply concerned about the fairness of the recent Ecuador vs. Mexico match. It is unacceptable for any team to gain an unfair advantage by disturbing their opponents' rest and preparation. The Ecuadorian team's performance was compromised due to these disturbances, and justice must be served.

The night before the match, members of the Ecuadorian team were unable to get the necessary rest due to disturbances  caused by the Mexican team fans. This disruption not only affected their mental and physical readiness but also prolonged their travel time by delaying their flight. With diminished rest and preparation time, the Ecuadorian players were unfairly disadvantaged, which likely impacted the match outcome.

Sportsmanship should be at the heart of every competition, and no country should be allowed to disrupt their opponent's preparation, creating an uneven playing field. The international sports community has a responsibility to ensure the integrity of the matches and to address grievances related to unsportsmanlike conduct.

The Ecuadorian players deserve fairness and a chance to compete without disadvantages imposed by external factors. This is why I am calling for a rematch in a fair environment where both teams can prepare and rest adequately.
