Dear HBO,

As devoted fans, we deeply appreciate the incredible journey you've taken us on with your series. However, we feel that the ending did not provide the closure we hoped for. We respectfully request that you consider reworking the conclusion to better reflect the rich storytelling and character development we've come to love. An extended season or additional episodes could help achieve a more satisfying and fitting end to this epic saga.

I am a passionate fan of Game of Thrones, an immensely popular television series based on George R.R. Martin's novels. But I, along with myriad other enthusiasts, felt a profound sense of disappointment with the final two seasons. The narrative arc, character developments, and the much-anticipated finale fell short of expectations – far short. 


Game of Thrones, formerly acclaimed for its rich storyline and complex characters, faced heavy criticism for its last two seasons, particularly the eighth season, which holds a rate of 31% on Rotten Tomatoes - a shocking departure from its earlier seasons consistently scoring over 90%. This stark contrast signifies a deviation in storytelling that left fans feeling underwhelmed (source: Rotten Tomatoes).

Many of us have invested our time, emotions, and eagerness into the Game of Thrones universe, only to find an ending that failed to deliver on the promised depth and complexity of the narrative arcs that were meticulously built in the earlier seasons.

We are calling on HBO to revisit the latter seasons of its globally revered series, Game of Thrones, and produce a remake that aligns more closely with the high-level storytelling that the audiences have associated with the series.
