I am one amongst many British citizens who believe we need to align with Europe and forge stronger trade agreements with countries close to us. This is more than a political stance; it is a plea for economic stability, for harmony with our neighbors, for our nation's future. The reality of a post-Brexit Britain is setting in, and the signs are far from favorable: our GDP has fallen, foreign direct investment is dwindling, and our industries are facing severe disruptions due to logistical bottlenecks. According to the Centre for European Reform, Brexit has reduced UK's trade by £10bn a month, or 15% percent as of October 2021.

As citizens, we need to understand the gravity of this situation and ask for a chance to reconsider. We need the government to listen to us - the people who have, and will continue to bear the brunt of this economic hit. We need to understand that it's not about reverting a decision made in the past, it's about making an informed choice for our future.

Help me, help us, demand a new referendum for Britain to rejoin the EU. We may have left, but we haven't yet lost the chance to negotiate, re-establish connections, and regain what we could lose while stranded on our own small island. We should not be aligning with America we should be standing with the EU.
