Demand a National Inquiry into Grooming Gangs by the Labour Government

Demand a National Inquiry into Grooming Gangs by the Labour Government

The Issue

I write as a concerned citizen yearning for justice for every victim trapped in the shadows of grooming gangs plaguing our society. Our Labour government, in fulfilling its duty of care towards the most vulnerable members of society, needs to rise to this critical situation and call a national inquiry forthwith.

Sweeping this vile issue under the rug is no longer an option. These grooming gangs have been causing nightmares for innocent lives for years now. We need to bring this out in the open, scrutinize it thoroughly, and find a systemic, comprehensive solution to prevent such atrocities in the future.

A national inquiry could aid in just that: it would provide us with valuable insights into these horrifying crimes, bring those involved to justice and shine a light on reasons behind their continued existence. Such an inquiry will make sure such heinous crimes are aptly dealt with, and no victim feels left behind.

We are marked by our actions in this time of unprecedented adversity. Let those actions show that we stand for justice, for survivors, for every individual scarred by this atrocity – by calling for a national inquiry into grooming gangs. We strongly urge the Labour government to uphold its duty of care to launch this inquiry immediately. Sign our petition to demand justice for victims and take a stand against grooming gangs.
