Current political conditions in the U.K. have left many citizens feeling unheard and disconnected from the decision-making processes that govern their lives. It is of utmost importance that we as citizens demand this, as only 66.1% of the voting population participated in the last General Election in 2019, suggesting a substantial portion of citizens were unheard (UK Parliament Statistics, 2019).
