By signing this petition, I demand that Swan View Senior High School and its leadership immediately approaches COVID-19 in a proactive pro-health manner and are transparent on all accounts via the below points:

1. Publicly publish the new, active and overall COVID-19 case numbers in the school daily.
2. Publicly publish the number of overall COVID-19 tests taken (PCR and RAT) conducted for close contacts daily.
3. Publicly Publish which year level, classes and periods have had COVID-19 cases daily.
4. Have students take RAT tests on-demand for any suspected COVID-19 infection.
5. Allow all students, regardless of contact to COVID-19 cases, the opportunity to do online learning without the prospect of being marked as absent.
6. Enforce mask-wearing inside and outside of classrooms (as social distancing is not reasonably possible around the school grounds) at all times. This while ensuring that masks are worn correctly (over the nose and satisfactory fit).
7. Have students sit and/or stationery while eating and drinking at recess and lunch with their masks off.
8. Enforce social distancing in classrooms when possible.
9. Hand sanitiser in all classroom entrances for students.
10. Students to wipe down keyboards, mice or laptops before and after use as a high touch surface with antibacterial wipes.
11. Ensure that proper ventilation is underway in classrooms.
12. In form, encourage students to wear respiratory (N95/KN99/P2) masks and inform them how to properly wear, handle, wash and dispose of their mask safely.
13. In form, show students the importance of COVID-safety, including handwashing (i.e., before eating) and other measures such as the above points.
14. Facilitate training of teachers and staff members on how to properly do COVID-19 handling and safety practices, including the above points.
15. The school is to be entirely shut down when the COVID-19 caseload is deemed unreasonable; and/or contact tracing is lost due to the inability to cope with pressure.
