As someone who sees firsthand the struggles of our fellow citizens and veterans on the streets, the issue of government financial accountability is more than just money—it's about justice and fairness. It's heart-wrenching to see people hurting, veterans homeless, while our government hands out money to other countries. These are people who have defended our country, and their freedoms, yet are left homeless and forgotten.

In light of this, this petition seeks a thorough and comprehensive audit of government records by independent bodies. It demands the government to hold anyone found mismanaging, misusing, or accepting kickbacks accountable, both legally and morally, regardless of their position in the fabric of government. Like every citizen, elected officials should also play by the rules and should not enjoy any form of immunity or exception from judicial processes.

We question the questionable halt of audits by certain judges, which raises suspicions of potential guilt. Beyond being a potential party to potential corruption, it undermines public trust and hampers the course of justice.
