Fix the Dell S3220DGF Freesync/Gsync flicker via consumer accessible firmware update

The Issue

The Dell S3220DGF Curved VA monitor has severe brightness flickering in all games with freesync on at all settings regardless of the GPU used. I have tried multiple AMD and Nvidia GPUs, tried changing the freesync range by Custom Resolution Utility overrides but to no avail. I tried changing Displayport Cables, swapping HDMI cables and inputs without any luck. I've spent countless hours reinstalling every driver including OS and swapping Hard Drives in my PC while trying to fix this issue. Dell is offering consumers the option to RMA the monitors for a newer revision. However, a lot of consumers (myself included) got these imported in their countries and the shipping costs and taxes defeat the end purpose of RMA. It is demanded that Dell release a user updatable firmware fix for this issue as it is an addressable problem via firmware. For example, Samsung Odyssey G7 Curved VA monitor recently got a firmware update that has fixed this flickering issue believed to be caused by "curved VA technology". Turning freesync off fixes the brightness flicker but that obliterates the point of buying a Variable refresh monitor. This issue is not AMD exclusive since many nvidia GPUs have the same problem. I hope to see this issue addressed as soon as possible.
