No exams for final year students of GGSIPU

No exams for final year students of GGSIPU
The Issue
In this pandemic, with more than 5000 cases increasing everyday in India we want to request the Delhi Government to not take this situation lightly. The final year students are the youth and are not resistant to the virus.
Giving exam in pen-paper mode is equivalent to risking our lives and the lives of our family members, by stepping out of our houses to go to the exam centres.
No matter how safe the centres are in terms of social distancing and hygiene, no one can guarantee safety in-transit!
Even taking exams online is not feasible, considering the poor connectivity and lack of infrastructure with the students.
Thus, GGSIPU should NOT TAKE ANY EXAMS this semester, for everyone's well-being. Case in point being IIT-Bombay, which has officially ended the academic year 2019-20.
We suggest GGSIPU to do the same, and pass the students based on the average of previous semester's result + internal exams of this semester + assignments/ presentation submitted in this semester
We do not wish to be pulled out of our homes for exams into such a vulnerable environment. We do not want to put our lives and the lives of our family and friends in danger. To be alive is more important than obtaining a degree with so much risk.
