The students of Delaware Valley University are petitioning to keep the stoles for the students to show off their achievements during their time at DelVal. The 2020 graduating class (Greek Life, Athletics, ALL clubs, ALL organizations, Resident Assistants) would NOT be allowed to wear stoles, as the University would like to replace the stoles with pins. This would be in effect for the proceeding classes (2021, 2022, etc...). We the students feel that this takes away from the time and effort put into the extracurriculars that have helped us develop in the pillars of our educational experiences. There is a way to make a change where everyone wins. Allowing the bookstore to potentially be in charge of stoles would allow students the option of purchasing a stole based on the GetInvolved records for each club and organization. This way the money does not come out of the clubs' budgets, but the students can individually choose if they would want to purchase stoles to wear for graduation.  Please sign this petition to help us keep the graduation tradition alive!
