Lakeside High School students are devastated with the news that their beloved AV Tech teacher will not join them in the 2019/2020 school year. Christoper White has worked at Lakeside for 3 years. In those 3 years he has shown that he cares not only about his students but all of Lakeside as well. White works hard for his students to have the opportunities to make it in the Film/music/animation industry. Dekalb County Schools informed him last minute (a month before his current certification expires)  that he should have took an introduction test. It takes over a month for the scores to be posted on the appropriate sites. "Dekalb County Schools offers minimal to zero guidance/mentor ship on navigating their cumbersome requirements and I am paying the price for that" states White. Christoper White is one of the best teachers Lakeside has had in a long time and it is sad that due to Dekalb County Schools' terrible communication skills we have to see him go.
