As a devoted viewer, I have been increasingly disturbed by the direction the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has taken. It was once a beacon of impartial news and world-class entertainment, but I now believe it has strayed from these principles. The BBC is supposed to represent a wide range of voices and values, unfortunately, it seems to have turned into a platform that promotes the narratives of extremists and terrorists. By allowing these voices to be heard, it is doing a disservice to the principles it was founded on and millions of its viewers feel betrayed by this distortion. It is vital to ensure that public funds are not used to promote hate and division, but to support content that accurately represents and respects all sections of our society. Given its current state, I believe the BBC is no longer fit for purpose and therefore must be defunded. I urge everyone who shares this view to sign our petition. Let's champion a diverse, equal, and just media that stands for us all.
