Le problème

To the World Federation of the Deaf

We, members of the deaf community, families, friends, and supporters of human rights, express our deep concern about the situation of deaf people in Gaza.

Since the beginning of the conflict, deaf Palestinians have faced extremely difficult conditions. They have experienced displacement, injuries, loss of family members, and limited access to healthcare, information, and essential services.

As the global organization representing deaf people worldwide, we believe the WFD has a moral responsibility to defend the rights and dignity of all deaf people, regardless of nationality, origin, or location.

Many members of the international deaf community feel that the suffering of deaf people in Gaza has not received the attention and visibility it deserves.

We call on the WFD to:

Publicly acknowledge the situation of deaf people in Gaza.
Clearly communicate what actions have been taken to support them.
Advocate for their fundamental rights before relevant international institutions.
Promote access to information, humanitarian aid, and essential services for deaf people affected by the conflict.
Demonstrate that every deaf person matters, wherever they live in the world.
For many members of the deaf community, silence in the face of suffering is difficult to understand. We urge the WFD to act with compassion, transparency, and commitment toward all deaf people affected by this crisis.

Sign this petition so that deaf people in Gaza are not forgotten.
