Defend the Tradition of Army Mules: Backbone of West Point and Military Pride
The Issue
In 1899, West Point crowned the mule as its official mascot. Since then they have been trained and ridden by the Army mule riders. Mules do not only serve as West Point’s mascot, but are a mascot for the army as a whole. They are a strong point (literally) of military tradition and represent the strength and resilience of the United States Army.
Extend your support today for the mules attending Army football games and representing true tradition as well as Army spirit with families, old grads, and the corps of cadets. Go Army, beat Navy!
