From 1993 to 1999, the Sci-fi series Deep Space 9 aired. A popular spin off of the Star Trek series, Deep Space 9 followed Captain Benjamin Sisko as he manages the space station deep space 9, which strategically located near a stable wormhole. The wormhole allows travel from one end of the galaxy to the other. The station itself is a former mining processing facility. Throughout the series, Captain Sisko deals with various problems, mainly the hostile Cardassians. The series was very popular with Star Trek fans, as well as sci-fi fans in general. Previous Star Trek series, such as The Next.Generation, have been given Blu-Ray releases. I believe that if Deep Space 9 is released for Blu-Ray and on Paramount+ then it will be more accessible to modern audiences.
