Approximately 49 million Americans have at least 1 package stolen every single year. Yet, often, even if these packages carry items worth thousands of dollars and have video proof, no arrests or punishments are often made. Personally, several packages have been stolen but even with video evidence, nothing happens. This petition is for the US Federal Government to increase its involvement in protecting packages from being stolen from taking more legislative action as well as investing in neighborhood mailboxes from which delivery personnel can place their packages without it being stolen such as a lock or a small opening. Please sign and share this petition to improve package safety inside communities, especially since several individuals have suffered from from packages being stolen.
