During the final weeks of February Lake Arrowhead, and other small towns located in the San Bernadino mountains, have endured one of the most horrific snowstorms in California history. With a record height of over 8 feet and zero snow clearance, residents are snowed in with absolutely no access to emergency services, food, water, and medical supplies.

Homes and businesses have been destroyed by the weight of the snow, causing roofs to collapse, leaving residents and small business owners in a complete state of emotional and financial vulnerability.

The people of Lake Arrowhead have always been known for their welcoming community and family values, with the expectancy of increased snowfall, we are asking that President Joe Biden declare this event a National Disaster for California's Mountain Areas.

The people of Arrowhead have come together to rebuild and support their community, and collective action is nothing without legislative support, governmental aid is crucial to restoring Lake Arrowhead to her former glory!
