Declaration of Elon Musk as a national security risk to the United States.

The Issue

As a citizen of the United States and a former servicemember in our military, I am sworn to protecting the nation and its interests from all enemies, both foreign AND domestic. I have witnessed alarming conduct from Elon Musk, a recognized tycoon in the tech and aerospace sectors. His actions clearly pose a genuine risk to our national security and democratic values.

Mr. Musk has undermined U.S. democracy by promoting verifiably false propaganda about U.S. elections as well as inciting violence against our nation's highest elected officials by posting a tweet asking why no one has attempted to assassinate the sitting President and Vice President of the United States. This is not the conduct we should expect from someone engaged in partnerships with the U.S. government.

Furthermore, Musk's Starlink was purposefully manipulated to support Russia's invasion in Ukraine, undermining the U.S. and NATO's goal of supporting a free and democratic Ukraine. This is another alarming example of how his resources are being misused to undermine our nation's policies and the safety of our global allies.

Current U.S. laws allow for the revocation of government contracts and clearances when a person poses a risk to national security. Therefore, it is only right to demand the revocation of Elon Musk’s government contracts and seize his corporate assets - including SpaceX, Starlink, and the social media platform formerly known as Twitter - that could further be controled to endanger the United States or its allies. We cannot stand idly by while such threats persist and as long as these entities remain under Musk's control they are, without question, a risk to the security of the United States and, arguably, the stability of the world.

By signing this petition, you're calling upon the relevant authorities to put the national interest ahead of personal and corporate interests. Stand up and help ensure that America’s national security remains uncompromised. Sign this petition today.
