As Diabetes Advocates, we have long been at the forefront of efforts to end the restrictions that have prevented scientists from realizing the great promise of stem cell research.  Over the past eight years, advocates have written letters, made calls, and visited with lawmakers in an effort to bringing hope and scientific progress to the nearly 24 million American adults and children with diabetes.
