Hello everyone! This is Brenda Tracy. I have some amazing news!! The Big Sky Conference has adopted a policy that bans violent athletes! June 8th is the 2 year anniversary of this petition and while the NCAA has yet to do anything, the Big Sky conference has stepped up and sent an important message to all conference hopefuls - behavior matters and playing sports is a privilege and not a right! I know that each and every one of you has been instrumental in the passing of this historic policy. It is literally the FIRST of it's kind in college athletics history. Thank you for your signature and thank you for your support! However, not to be a Debbie Downer, but there is more work to do! We still haven't seen any substantial movement on this issue from the NCAA and there are many, many more conferences that need to adopt this type of policy. So, lets keep pushing! Let's take this great news and use it to inspire other conferences and the NCAA to get on board. Please continue to share the petition and ask your family and friends to sign. I will also be attending an NCAA Commission to Combat Sexual Violence meeting June 11th. Please look for my update on how that goes. And again, THANK YOU! You guys are amazing!!
