Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is requiring students to get the vaccine over the summer and there is no guarantee that your religion/beliefs will give you exemption. Since it is a college that most students are over the age of 18 and are adults we shouldn’t be forced to get a vaccine that people do not want. Manly for the fact that the vaccine is only approved for emergency use and not fully approved by the FDA. We are still finding side effects of the vaccine every day for example the Johnson and Johnson blood clot. And very recently heart inflammation in young recipients. I feel that as adults we should and deserve to choose if we want to get the vaccine or not. We also don’t know the long term effects of the vaccine yet and we shouldn’t have to take the vaccine with unknown long term side effects.
