In 2017, the frozen pancake manufacturer De Wafelbakkers, stopped producing their highly popular and successful European style waffles. These were pre cooked, non frozen, lightly sweetened waffles that were able to be eaten directly from the plastic bag. These waffles were extremely affordable, usually around $1 USD for a package of 6, and super convenient with not needing syrup or heating.

De Wafelbakkers chose to end the waffles and focus on their frozen pancake products. This has disappointed so many lovers of the waffles, who over two years later, still cannot forget about these beloved products. Since discontinuing them, consumers have left many sad comments on the company’s Facebook page, and extended their disappointment through many emails. Finally, someone said “Maybe if we make a petition!” And here we are.
