There are many people who would like to take ASL 2 (Sign 2) during the winter quarter of 2022 at De Anza College. Our wonderful professor, David Rawson, has been teaching ASL for 20 years but suddenly, ASL 2 and maybe even 3 is being cancelled. We need this class up and running PLEASE HELP US. Encouraging students to learn ASL provides education for hearing people about the truth about Deaf culture as well as increases the opportunities for Deaf people to be more included in society, through the spread of ASL usage. Please help us keep our class open, so that we students can learn ASL and work to provide a more inclusive community for the Deaf.
