In 2015, the 60'th anniversary edition was released on Blu-Ray, but it was only the theatrical version. The miniseries was extremely popular when it was released, which is why the theatrical version was released. If the miniseries was released on Blu-Ray and Disney+, then it can be viewed by younger audiences. This will ensure that the show will remain popular with both younger audiences and the generation that grew up with the show.
