Retire Colt Brennan’s Number 15 Jersey for UH Warriors

Retire Colt Brennan’s Number 15 Jersey for UH Warriors

The Issue

From 2006-2007 Colt Brennan gave his heart and soul to Hawaii.  He had a beautiful arm and QB swag. He was confident and generous. He was immense talent and full of grace. He represented Aloha and what it means to be from Hawaii, although he was not born here he carried himself like he was... He had been heavily sought after by the NFL at the conclusion of his 2006, junior year at UH. He came back in 2007, his senior year, something rarely done, he wanted to give to Hawaii’s people his appreciation for accepting him with such love. In 2007, Colt with the team, had an incredible 12-0 season, winning against WAC Champs Boise State(not often done in Hawaii)  and taking us to the Sugar Bowl! He gave so much of himself and spread so much Aloha to the local people. In Hawaii, in his memory let’s show Colt we remember all he did, we retire his number 15. He’s earned it. He put Hawaii football on the map. And reminded us about our Aloha spirit. Please sign this petition and give Colt our Aloha. Aloha is powerful. We have something many across the nation come to recognize. Let’s show the rest of the nation, in times such as these, Aloha still exists and you don’t need to be from Hawaii to show Aloha. #onelove
