This is an established wildflower meadow containing SSSI species. Darlington Borough Council plan to destroy these meadows in the next 2 years by building a road and speculative industrial units. We need 1000 signatures to get the issue discussed at cabinet. Help us save the wild flower meadows for future generations. This land is a green field site, not  brown field. It is a fantastic recreational resource with over 3 miles of footpaths with beautiful views of the North Yorkshire Moors and Pennines in the distance. It is a haven for wildlife, deer, foxes, rabbits, a myriad of wild flowers,  butterflies and the protected Great Crested Newts.
