For far too long our realms have been in peril, because of the treachery of a dishonorable man, known as Darak. He has ruined the culture and traditions of my fair land and turned many of my vassals against me. I asked in a humble and quite equitable treaty to resolve matters such as; the conflict between us, our people, to unify our lands in two separate, but equal realms and for him to repay the reparations that we are owed.

For the treaty is not one of annexation, but it is one of armistice. He is the one that insists to push this matter further and I intend to simply resolve it. As we speak now, he is plotting and planning and I am enjoying the company of my jester. For it is not I who wishes to fight, it is the Crusader, who intends to attack us, innocent, pagans. Who want nothing, but to bask in the glory of Odin, drink with Thor and dine in the Hall of the Valkyries.
