Women make up the bulk of the unpaid workforce as Mothers, Carers, Volunteers, caring for family and friends throughout our lives.  This results in systemic poverty and inequality.

Conservative charities use volunteers to hand out free stale pies and soup on the streets of Melbourne to the homeless while their buildings remain locked and empty. 

Conservative religious charities own the majority of employment agencies that cut Australians off Newstart.

Conservative charities then profit from the people they have made homeless by winning the most government grants to assist the homeless.

The welfare industry retains 99% of homeless funds from government and philanthropy while the homeless literally receive crumbs. 

This welfare industry rort is unsustainable, unfair and destructive to the health and wellbeing of Australians. Our Victorian Government can and will respond and reform to meet our needs.  Please put your comments in when signing.
