Over 30 years ago a group of Visionary Women started Access CERC, Access Common Equity Rental Co-Operatives in the CEHL, Common Equity Housing Limited Program.

Louise Goode was one of a handful of founding members who worked tirelessly to make it a success. The program was designed for Single mothers and including Single Women to secure long term secure housing. Breaking a cycle of disadvantage and encouraging links to the community.

Over 10 years ago when the culture changed Louise was bullied out under duress. First her unpaid job was taken away, then her voice was taken away and now her home is about to be taken away unless Premier Daniel Andrews steps in.

As a Forgotten Australian Louise had her voice and community taken away from protecting her young formative years and now as an senior it is happening again.

After many years self litigating to defend herself a stay on the eviction is set to expire on the 7th of February and Louise has been warned the warrant to evict will be executed.

Rent of close to $40,000 is in the Access CERC account.

This Friday Louise is under the very real threat of homelessness from the home she has known for 28 years. Access CERC was meant to secure housing for the vulnerable, putting a 64 year old out onto the street is not doing that.

We need a Royal Commission into the reality of what has happened to public funds in Social Housing.

Please sign and share help keep Louise safe in her home and community.
