Dream Yacht Charter Refuses Liability - David vs. Goliath

Dream Yacht Charter Refuses Liability - David vs. Goliath
The Issue
The world is full of bullies and fear mongering right now and our experience with the Dream Yacht Charter company has not been any different.
A Dream Yacht Charter bareboat (no company captain on board) charter boat dragged anchor and collided with my boat in October 2019. Dream Yacht Charter admitted to and detailed the entire accident in an email and they were initially apologetic and promised to repair any damage caused.
We had a sale pending and the buyers were so keen and happy to buy my boat. A survey was done and a major impact area was discovered and seawater had seeped into the foam core, which is exceptionally serious. The buyers walked away.
I advised Dream Yacht Charter of the damage and since then and many emails later, with senior management of Dream Yacht Charter, I am still trying to get my boat repaired.
This is the last email received from Kresimir Klaric the Global Operations Manager.
Dear Ms. Thaysen,
DYC is not liable for the damage to your catamaran. No damage was caused to your catamaran by a DYC boat and certanly not anything near the amount your mention below. This is the end of our emailing. If you wish to go to court be my guest. Our lawyers will have a field day
Best regards
Dream Yacht Charter
Global Operations Manager
I know this seems a small thing compared to what everyone in the world is facing right now, but should I let it go?
We have worked so hard to realise our dream and this is our home. If a cement truck drives into your home, are you going to throw up your hands and say “Oh well” and fix the damage yourself? No, you’re going to be on the phone immediately and get the cement company to take responsibility and they will, but not Dream Yacht Charter.
The safety aspect of this is also concerning. Are the charter guest's credentials properly checked and verified? The very next day after our incident, this same bareboat S/V Island Time, with the same charter guests, ran aground coming into port. This begs the question, do Dream Yacht Charter have a safety standard or are they only chasing bookings?
Please sign and help me in asking the CEO and Founder, Mr Loïc Bonnet to honor his debt to us and take responsibility for the incompetence and negligence of the Dream Yacht Charter staff and fleet.
Thank you sincerely!
