Australia is in need of a true conservative media organisation that supports traditional values and discourages 'left-wing' movements.Media greatly shapes societies, it changes culture, and influences the mind of the individual, and therefore the direction of our country. And as it stands now, all major news organisations in Australia have at worst an obvious progressive agenda, and at best, provide a platform for some conservative/centrist figures, but still pushes and reports in a mainstream manner.

The Daily Wire group is one of the largest conservative media companies in the USA. They've developed exponentially in the last couple of years, and love getting into the thick of heavy culture wars, providing a distinct traditional aspect to the political arena. They are not afraid to speak unpopular ideas, campaign against progressive policies, and even get involved with the entertainment industry. 

I am confident that with some solid campaigning, the Daily Wire, if it launches a branch in Australia, will have a large following and a persuasive presence. This petition aims to bring about just that.

*Edit: some people have commented about my 'left' and 'right wing' wording. I do believe that the 'right vs left' terminology broad-strokes far too much and hence does a disservice to the individual. For example, there are plenty of people who would call themselves 'left-wing' when it comes to economics, but are vehemently against woke ideology. I'm lazy however, so I'll usually use it anyway for the sake of simplicity. Most people from both sides tend to have more in common than they would initially think. Cheers.
