Students for justice of police brutality in South Africa

The Issue

South African Students of all ages as well as every South African would like to see justice for the victims of Police Brutality in the country. The case of Collins Khoza has shown the brutal acts that our security forces are capable of.

Our goal is to demand justice for Collins Khoza and the other victims of excessive force used by South African security forces (SAPS, SANDF and Metro Police). We aim to get support from students in grade 7 to university. we hope to do this by galvanizing support from students in the major metro areas of the country (Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria) to march and deliver letters or petitions that show that we demand a civilian investigation into these murders using criminal law.

By marching we as students hope to send a message to our Leaders in government that we support justice in country, and we believe that when united the students of South Africa will be able to make sure that these crimes do not go unpunished and that justice will be found for the families of Collins Khoza, Sibusiso Amos, Petrus Miggels and Adane Emmanuel.

We as students seek to march in two locations. those who live in Johannesburg-Pretoria metro region to the department of defence in Pretoria, and for those who live in Cape Town to march on parliament. We hope this will show our position as students who seek justice for the families of those named, and also for families across South Africa.
