The demolition of the current bandstand in Aberystwyth is now inevitable. Whether people are supportive or opposed to this, we must now accept that it will happen. However, we the people demand a consultation on possible new designs for the bandstand as many feel the current plans are ill-fitting and unnattractive. The bandstand is the centre-piece of our promenade and we only ask that the council consults locals on how the new bandstand should look and what it should include.
