Calexico High School's dress code targets and objectifies underage girls by promoting sexist and outdated mindsets. 

In the Student Handbook, Dress Code talks about how clothing should not be low cut, or expose the chest, or reveal "undergarments including bra straps", "spaghetti straps," "tube tops," or "..blouses with no undergarments, leotards, or bathing suits are not permitted. Tops must be long enough to prevent the exposure of midriff when standing." CHS' Student Handbook. Page 29/30. Section 7.

The dress code implies a student's learning can be distracted by a student's undergarment showing by accident (since nobody goes around doing that) and by showing the stomach, shoulders, or back. It encourages the idea that "women should “cover-up,” so as not to distract the men and boys." it also shows how UNDERAGE girls cannot wear whatever they want freely without being objectified. It also subconsciously makes adult teachers and adult men make the underage girls uncomfortable.

To sum up, abolish the dress code by removing the parts that target the students sexually. This takes away time from the affected student and overall makes the person uncomfortable with these ideals.
