We all know it is widespread in california and state already declared emergency, our kids and school officials have to face the threat of contacting Coronavirus on daily basis.

As per news and details floating around, kids are least venerable, but they can carry it to the families where we have old parents (could be impacted severely sick people) .

As a precautionary measure to prevent the possibility of spread of COVID-19 among our children, families and community, we should request school authorities to shutdown schools till conditions are stable.

To protect our families and community, we should not wait until somebody gets exposed in our schools, we should request School District to take decision at earliest.

Closing schools would not be the permanent solution, but as a precautionary measure it will certainly help to minimize the risk.

As CUSD is already preparing to set up e-learning as they mentioned in their emails.

So as a solution to avoid any impact on kids academics, our request is to close schools (until we get control over situation) and switch to e-learning for the meantime to prevent the spread of the virus.
