The living situation, financial stability, and health of thousands of California State University of Fullerton students has been negatively and critically impacted by the COVID-19 campus closures.

Over the past weeks we have seen egregious actions on campuses including but not limited to; students being sent 4 day evacuation notices after being ensured they would be allowed to stay, students working on campus losing their jobs or having hours drastically cut without compensation, and limiting hours and services of campus health centers on campus that provide critical medical care for our students.

We demand that  CSU accommodate and invest in student’s well being by:

1. Refunding student fees for cancelled services, including but not limited to lab fees, gym fees, extra activities fees,parking permits, and housing fee since they will no longer be on campus to use these facilities and services.
2. Where refunds are not possible, resources for cancelled events and services, should be reallocated to supply campus food pantries, medical facilities,and student emergency funds.
3. Holding each campus responsible for finding housing for displaced students during the quarantine.
4. Involving student voices and input during the decision making process in day to day processes, including situations of emergency and crisis. 
5. In solidarity with our faculty, we demand that all faculty receive the same pay as they would if classes were still meeting in person including, but not limited to, extra work faculty had to do in the transition into online courses.
6. Providing a date for commencement ceremonies as soon as possible.
7. Providing paid time off for student workers affected hour cuts or closed by the campus closures.
8. Immediate inclusion of accessibility best practices in online conferences and distribution of course material. These practices should center people with various disabilities and access to learning material (e.g. mental health, physical disabilities, internet access, devices, quiet spaces, stress-free environments etc.)
9. Passing a policy that gives the option for students of all majors, colleges, class-standing, and graduate status to accept or decline a Pass or Fail grade in replacement of a letter grade. This policy should be created with transparency and accessibility in mind, as well as in a way where students have a direct say in how it will function.
