Croydon Council is considering closing your roads to through traffic - possibly installing bus gates and Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras and turning your roads into a "quasi-gated" community. Why? Because of the mess they made installing a "low traffic neighbourhood" on Auckland Road. 

What Croydon Council is doing is not good enough. Well implemented LTN's need data and planning and not just a constant reaction to previous mistakes made. Closing random roads simply move traffic around onto yet another area and is not the answer.  

From what we have seen of the chaos they created with the recent Auckland Road LTN, we urge you to sign this petition today to put a stop to Croydon's rushed, knee-jerk reaction plans they have for these roads. 

Legal Action has been launched against Croydon Council to reverse the decisions. To date, Croydon Council has received over 1000 emails in opposition from residents in and around the Auckland Road LTN. 

A pro-LTN petition will be presented to the council next week (Nov 30th) with a mere 200 signatures on there asking for Harold Road-Beulah Hill-Hermitage Road-Central Hill to become an LTN. SIGN THIS PETITION TODAY to counter this before it even gets started.
