Artificial intelligence is increasingly being misused to generate fake pornographic depictions of non-consenting individuals. This “Deepfake” technology is used to create realistic sexual photographs and videos of innocent people. The generated media is often indistinguishable from reality and has been used by criminals to blackmail and harass people.

As it stands currently in Arkansas there is no law against generating or sharing said content. Arkansas should join a growing list of states that are working to criminalize this behavior. Please sign this petition if you believe that the state legislature needs to act.
